# Uninstalling Incredibuild

The uninstall procedure removes the installed components, services, cache, build history, and all other related material that is connected to Incredibuild.

To uninstall Incredibuild on most components, run the following command on the machine:

```
sudo /opt/incredibuild_management/uninstall.app/Contents/MacOS/installbuilder.sh
```

**Note:** If you have enabled the Xcode integration, Xcode must not be running during the uninstallation. If this was the case, quit Xcode and uninstall again.
