Build Cache Client

The Build Cache Client Agent settings define if you are using a local cache (on this machine), a remote cache on a different machine or cluster, or both. When using shared (remote) cache only, specifies whether the builds run as read-only (or read & write). For more details, see Build Cache Overview.

The Include more details in build output enhances the logs and build monitor, however this may require additional space.

• On: Full details are included about every task in every build.

• Off: Minimal details are included about every build.

• Automatic: Creates a report if a build has fewer than 50% cache hits. The report only includes details of a sample of the cache misses.
