Moving the Coordinator to a New Machine

You must install the new Coordinator on a physical machine, or a static VM.

1. On the existing Coordinator, backup the grid, by running manager.exe from the Manager directory:

   cd [INCREDIBUILD_INSTALLATION]\Manager

   manager.exe backup -b <backup_file>

2. If you have an offline license, deactivate the license on the existing Coordinator, as described in Offline Licenses.
   

   Note: If you have an online license, this will automatically be migrated.

3. On the new Coordinator machine, restore the grid:

   1. Run the Incredibuild Setup File as described in Standard Installation .

   2. On the Setup Options page, select Restore from backup.

   3. Complete the installation.

4. If you have an offline license, complete the activation flow as described in Offline Licenses.
