AI root cause analysis diagnoses why a build failed. On a failed build, click Analyze with AI to get an AI-generated diagnosis. The first run takes a few seconds; reopening the build after that returns the same analysis instantly.

What you get

  • Confidence (High / Medium / Low) and a failure type (for example Missing dependency, Link error, or Config error).
  • A one-line summary of what went wrong.
  • A recommended fix - a diff or numbered steps - plus any alternative fixes. Use Copy prompt for your AI to hand the full diagnosis to your own coding assistant.
  • Evidence - the log excerpts the analysis is based on.
  • Noise errors to ignore - errors detected in the build that aren’t related to the failure.
Rate the analysis with the thumbs up/down at the bottom to help improve it.
If the build doesn’t have enough data to diagnose confidently, the panel asks you to re-run the build at Extended logging level (or higher) instead of showing a low-confidence guess.
